Each room is furnished with a bed, bedside cabinet, an armchair, and a wardrobe. Residents are invited to bring a favourite chair, dresser, lamp, plants, afghans and pictures to make their rooms more homelike, personal and comfortable. For safety reasons, flat screen televisions must be no larger than 32 inches and must be placed on an appropriate table/stand. Please remember that a crowded room impedes resident and staff movement, housekeeping services, and may cause safety hazards.
Residents in private rooms may also have a mini-fridge in their room if the resident or family members ensure that the fridge is cleaned, temperatures are taken regularly and contents are maintained on a regular basis.
Linens, washcloths, and towels are provided; however, you may wish to decorate with a bedspread, as they are not provided by the home. Please ensure they are flame resistant.
Basic Accommodations are shared between two residents and divided by a privacy screen. All the furnishings mentioned above are included.
Semi-Private rooms are private rooms that have shared bathrooms between residents.
Private Accommodations are rooms that provide privacy and allow for family to visit as often and regularly without interruption.
Short stay rooms are beds that provide temporary convalescent care or respite (caregiver relief). Please Note: due to COVID-19 we are currently not accepting applications for short-stays accommodations.
Please note that our facility and resident rooms have air conditioning systems.
