What is Community Support Services?
Community Support Services (CSS) helps provide assistance to individuals to help them maintain independence and quality of life at home. These services include a wide range of supports such as:
- Assisted Living / Outreach services
- Medical Transportation
- Meals on Wheels
- Palliative Care

To Apply for CSS Services
To apply for Assisted Living Services, clients and/or family members must first contact Ontario Health atHome (OHaH). Anyone can make a referral to OHaH on your behalf with your consent: a family doctor, friend, family member, caregiver, neighbour.

Want to become a PSW?
Algoma Manor in collaboration with Sault College will be offering a fully funded Personal Support Worker Program.
Students will receive:
- Free training (all costs covered)
- A two (2) year part-time employment contract
- Flexible hours (so you can work and go to school!)
- Training that will be delivered onsite and in-person at Algoma Manor
