Applying for Assisted Living
- Contact the Home and Community Care Support Services (HSSCC) in your area. The HSSCC coordinates all admissions for short stay and LTC admissions.
- The HSSCC helps you with waitlist information, and other basic information about your local LTC homes.
You can apply for short stay or LTC admissions while at home or in the hospital. In the meantime, you are welcome to book a facility tour by either telephone (705) 842 2840 or by using our online appointment section.

Want to become a PSW?
Algoma Manor in collaboration with Sault College will be offering a fully funded Personal Support Worker Program.
Students will receive:
- Free training (all costs covered)
- A two (2) year part-time employment contract
- Flexible hours (so you can work and go to school!)
- Training that will be delivered onsite and in-person at Algoma Manor
