Accessible Transportation Services
Algoma Manor offers a non-urgent medical transportation program for our local community. The program provides rides within the catchment area of Thessalon, Bruce Mines, and Iron Bridge for appointments, procedures, and other needs as required. For travel assistance outside of the above catchment area, please contact us directly.
We offer three (3) different accessible vans including a specialized stretcher van. Each vehicle is equipped with a mobility ramp.
Hours of Operation
Our program runs Monday to Friday from 8:00AM - 4:00PM. However, we always try to accommodate clients based on need.
Want to become a PSW?
Algoma Manor in collaboration with Sault College will be offering a fully funded Personal Support Worker Program.
Students will receive:
- Free training (all costs covered)
- A two (2) year part-time employment contract
- Flexible hours (so you can work and go to school!)
- Training that will be delivered onsite and in-person at Algoma Manor
